Return Policy

How do I return an item?
We will gladly accept returns under the following circumstances.

Returns are accepted up to 7 days after the sale for any reason. You are responsible for shipping costs to our warehouse, unless we have accidentally sent you the incorrect item.  If we sent you the incorrect item, we will pick up the item or arrange for shipping, at no cost to you.

If you accidentally ordered the wrong item, you will pay for the shipping cost in both directions.

If you are a dealer that bought the item to resell and your sale fell through, it is your responsibility.  You own it and will need to sell the item on your own.  We do not accept returns from dealers outside the terms stated on this page.

TERMS OF THIS RETURN POLICY:

The equipment must be returned in unused, saleable condition.

You must obtain a Return Authorization prior to sending the item back by contacting Shafer Metal at 651-257-5350.

Returns will not be accepted if you just send the item back without a pre-authorization.

Warranty Policy

One Year Limited Warranty

Shafer Metal a manufacturer of quality machinery since 1987, warrants new SHAFER METAL attachments at the time of delivery to the original purchaser, to be free from defects in material and workmanship when properly set up and operated in accordance with the recommendations set forth by SHAFER METAL.

SHAFER METALS liability for any defect with respect to accepted goods shall be limited to repairing the goods at SHAFER METAL's warehouse ore replacing them as SHAFER METAL shall elect. The above shall be in accordance with SHAFER METAL warranty adjustment policies. SHAFER METAL’S obligation shall terminate twelve (12) months after the delivery of the goods to original purchaser. This warranty shall not apply to any attachment which shall have been repaired or altered outside the SHAFER METAL factory or authorized SHAFER METAL dealership or in any way so as in SHAFER METAL’S judgment, to affect its stability or reliability, nor which has been subject to misuse, negligence or accident beyond the Company recommended machine rated capacity.

Warranty Claim

To submit a warranty claim, a return authorization from SHAFER METAL must be obtained. The failed part may then be returned in an untampered status. This warrants’ does not include freight or delivery charges incurred when returning machinery for servicing. Dealer mileage, service calls and pickup/delivery charges are the customers' responsibility.

Exclusions of Warranty

Except as otherwise expressly stated herein, SHAFER METAL makes no representation or warranty of any kind, expressed or implied, AND MAKES NO WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY IN RESPECT TO ITS ATTACHMENTS ARE FIT FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE. SHAFER METAL shall not be liable for incidental or consequential damages for any breach or warranty, including but not limited to inconvenience, rental or replacement equipment, loss of profits or other commercial loss. Upon purchase the buyer assumes all liability for all personal injury and property resulting from the handling, possession or use of the goods by the buyer.

No agent, employee, or representative of SHAFER METAL has any authority to bind SHAFER METAL to any affirmation,representation or warranty concerning its machinery and/or attachments except as specifically set forth herein.
